Something not covered? intake@offradar.ca
Can you completely hide my aircraft?
No one honestly can. Some trackers refuse to remove aircraft. We remove it wherever possible and tell you exactly where it stays visible.
Which trackers can you help with?
We monitor 21 public tracking sources. 6 publish a removal route, 11 we request directly, and 4 refuse. See the coverage list.
How do you know it worked?
We check every source ourselves. A source only counts as protected once our own check confirms it, never just because a provider says so.
What if a tracker refuses?
We look for another route. If there isn’t one, we tell you in writing.
What if my aircraft reappears?
We check every week. If it reappears, we reopen the work and tell you.
How long does it take?
We reply within one business day and file within five business days of your signature. Each tracker then sets its own pace.
Does it work for Canadian aircraft?
Yes, on every tracker we monitor.
Does it work for U.S. aircraft?
Yes. We work the same trackers, and prepare and submit the FAA’s LADD request on the owner’s behalf. The FAA decides the outcome.
What is FAA LADD?
The FAA’s program for keeping an aircraft’s flight data off sites that use the FAA feed. We prepare and submit the request on the owner’s behalf; the FAA decides it. More about LADD.
What is PIA?
An FAA program that can give an eligible U.S. aircraft a temporary address not linked to the owner. For Executive clients we prepare the application and submit it on the owner’s behalf; the FAA decides. The operator then installs the new address.
Do you need proof of ownership?
Only if a tracker asks for it.
Can my family office manage this?
Yes. Your office can be our contact. The owner or operator signs once.
Can you manage multiple aircraft?
Yes. Five or more aircraft get a fleet quote and one report.
Can I cancel?
Any time, effective at the end of the paid month.
What information do you keep?
Only what the work needs, for as long as the privacy policy says.
Who is behind OffRadar
Who runs OffRadar?
OffRadar is a Canadian service, built by an aircraft management professional.
Why is no company name shown?
The legal entity providing the service will be named on the terms of service and on your letter of authorization, so you know exactly who you are contracting with before you sign.
Where are my details kept?
In password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in, with authorization documents stored separately from general correspondence. Some of our service providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. See the privacy policy.
Who can see my request?
Only the people who do the work. The trackers and program administrators that act on a request receive the registration, ICAO address, your letter and any evidence they require. We never disclose that you are a client.
Does OffRadar have any authority over my aircraft?
No. The letter covers flight tracking requests only. It gives no authority over the aircraft, its registration, its operation or its maintenance, and you can withdraw it at any time.
