What is FAA LADD?

LADD (Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed) is the FAA’s aircraft privacy program.

What it does

It keeps an aircraft’s flight data off public tracking sites that use the FAA’s data feed.

Who it is for

U.S.-registered aircraft. The FAA does not say whether other registrations qualify.

What it does not do

It does not change what the aircraft broadcasts. Networks that don’t use the FAA feed can still show it.

The easy way

OffRadar handles it for you, together with every other source we monitor, and checks the result itself.

General information, not legal advice. Policies change.
